General Frequently asked questions

  • How do I use my Halo Alarm?

When you need help or assistance, press the SOS button for 3 - 4 seconds until you hear a voice prompt indicating an SOS alarm.

By pressing this button, this starts a sequence of sending a, "help me" text message to your emergency contact numbers.

The Halo Alarm will then start outgoing calls to your emergency contacts. If the first number is unavailable or they do not answer, it will call the second number after a delay of 10 seconds. In the case of the second number failing to connect as well, the Halo Alarm will connect to the third number, etc.

Between each call, there will be a 10 second delay, during which time, the user can stop the call sequence or prevent a possible false alarm by pressing the SOS button.

  • Can I stay connected everywhere

With 4G Connectivity, Halo ensures you’re never out of touch. If 4G isn’t available, it seamlessly falls back to 3G/2G, keeping you connected no matter where you are.
